By definition, a hedonistic person has as a vital attitude, the search for pleasure.
Hedonism is a philosophical doctrine that comes from ancient Greece: Live to enjoy pleasures, trying to avoid pain, that will lead you to happiness.
Personally, I think that to have a hedonistic attitude towards life you have to respect certain limits, moral or internal, because otherwise it would end up becoming something else.
For example, as long as your pursuit of pleasure doesn't harm another person...and as long as you don't get trapped as a slave and become dependent on desires for pleasures.
Buddhism warns you that one of the origins of suffering is precisely desire. However, we have the right to be happy.
Having a healthy hedonistic attitude is also Self Love, it's like giving yourself a celebration. Sometimes when in doubt, (and sometimes for fear of feeling guilty), surely on some occasion you have answered yourself: "If I like it and I deserve it, why not?" and you end up giving yourself that pleasure: For example, going to that restaurant you like, a trip to the place of your dreams, buying that nice shirt, those sunglasses that suit you as a movie actor, taking a bath in the sea... ..Give yourself an intimate moment for you, where everything will be for you.
Tantra is a healthy way to get that pleasure that your body and soul need. A timely hug is pleasure, caresses that know how to connect with your skin is pleasure, the synchrony of breathing to calm you down is pleasure... Stimulating you until you reach a level of sensory ecstasy, where you will remain in a state of liberation. ...is without a doubt, a pleasure to experience.
Do you have hedonistic attitudes?
